Should “Having it All” Really Be The Goal?

Quick! We need to look like we have the best life.

From career success to beautiful homes to personal fulfillment, is “having it all” really the goal? Maybe the better question is: Is having it all worth the headache?

When we fall into the trap of Keeping up with the Joneses, we prioritize strangers’ views of ourselves and our families over our own happiness. How stupid is that?

Of course, we have Instagram to credit for our plummeting moods and feelings of inadequacy.

So the ultimate question is: Is the damaging of our self-image worth being labeled “a wildly successful entrepreneur, wellness expert, author, speaker, and mother of two?”

I feel like it isn’t.

Keep your happiness front of mind. And unfollow/unfriend everyone who makes you feel insufficient.

XOXO,

Ash
