Making Mom Friends as A New Mom

You have entered motherhood, which means you have entered mommy judgement zone. Present yourself as the confident mom you are by dressing accordingly at play dates.

If you’re cringing at the idea of making mom friends, it’s probably for good reason.

Women are judgmental as it is, but throwing kids in the mix of that already high judge zone? It can be intimidating (and weird) because it’s new, unfamiliar, and just plain uncomfortable.

However, because us modern moms don’t sweat the small stuff, we look at making mom friends as a new and fun experience instead of a dreadful thing tacked on to our already too-long to-do lists.

While Mommy & Me classes may sound daunting, I encourage you to attend some and see how it goes. You never know who you will meet or what opportunity you may come across at a baby jam session.
